HFK05 Wagner Ödegård: Ur törnedjupen

Ancient hymns sprung from a murky dusk and traditions long forgotten. Offered here are the subdued grandeur of olden horns, a persistent creaking and the poetry of the dampened soil.

Cassette in edition of 300 copies, housed in a rustic and risograph-adorned o-card.

Wagner left a peculiar atmosphere behind: Echoing fragments of his mumbling chants shot through a heaving sonorous mist. Muted stars glimmered in the sooted ceiling while fern and fungi seemed to burst forth in unlit corners and behind moulded plank. A calm trembling in the air brought the room into a resounding murmur. The moon shone as bright as the low winter sun.
